I think that this article can be considered to essentially be a WP:CFORK from Denazification, which addresses the reintegration of former Nazis, including the Waffen-SS into German society after WWII. Oppose denazification was a temporary process affecting Waffen-SS veterans, among many other groups of people associated with the Nazi regime and its crimes. This article is a different topic, focusing more narrowly on the Waffen-SS and more broadly on their postwar role beyond the denazification era. Oppose denazification was only a short-lived process, finished in 1951. The activities of former Waffen-SS personnel went on long beyond that. Coincidently (?) HIAG was formed the same year denazification finished and was active for over 40 years. The impact, large or small, that Waffen-SS Veterans had on post-war Germany went far beyond the denazification process. Turismond (talk) 22:28, 23 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
