Cost of rides
[edit]how much does it cost to go on? can you get s day pass? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.124.49.59 (talk) 13:34, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- This is an encyclopedia, not a tourist guide. That information changes and is considered trivial. The South Bank Corporation website would be the best source for the information. - Shiftchange (talk) 23:44, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
Height
[edit]I suggest that the height is "60m" not "almost 60m", because the reference [3] that actually states the height of the Wheel says 60m. https://www.queensland.com/en-au/attraction/the-wheel-of-brisbane does not say that Wheel is almost 60m, it says "Rising almost 60 metres above the ground in the safety and comfort of a fully enclosed, air-conditioned gondola, it's a must-do attraction on any visit to Brisbane" - which to me means that the rider ("in the ... gondola") and/or the gondala rises almost 60m. This is consistent with other web pages, eg "From my vantage point of almost sixty metres above the ground", and ... from a .. gondola ... almost 60-metres above ground". The gondalas are suspended from the wheel rim, so the gondola and its occupants are below the top of the wheel - ie given a 60m wheel, the gondala is almost 60m high. But the infobox lists the height of the structure, not the height of a gondola or occupants.
Is there a current source that actually says that the Wheel is 60m high?
