Fair use rationale for Image:Mtv10-wyb.jpg

[edit]

Image:Mtv10-wyb.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

What about Al Bano?

[edit]

I find news that there was a trial against Jacko for this song. No news here? --93.146.194.23 (talk) 08:30, 26 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whats the name of the "traditional Indian song" that "will you be there" is inspired by? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.221.106.67 (talk) 15:43, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to know how this song was inspired by a "traditional Indian song" and how an Italian pop singer ended up suing Jackson: "Will You Be There" ended up sounding like fairly typical American gospel-flavored power ballad. It sounds neither Indian nor Italian. And I would also know why it is considered to be unusually "complex": to me it sounds like a nice song, but not particularly complex. But that's just my opinion. Timothy Horrigan (talk) 19:23, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The song itself is not complex, but rather the musical accompaniment, I would say -- compared with the typical rock song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skysong263 (talkcontribs) 02:21, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any source in which the italian judge mention the "indian" song? Is there a full transcript in which the judgment is written? A reference to this would be a good thing. 20:06, 9 July 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by JustRishi (talkcontribs)

Hold me, like the River Jordan

[edit]

What does this line mean? The concept of being held by a river is hard for me to grasp. 24.11.127.26 (talk) 05:30, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That does make some sense to me -- the idea that I can float in water and be supported by it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skysong263 (talkcontribs) 01:57, 13 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

what does it mean?

[edit]

Did he ever give any background on this song? Is it a prayer to God, asking for emotional support? Does his video that shows so many fans shouting they love him show something about how he feels about God's love?? Or is the song addressed to the fans themselves?

Lyric change

[edit]

There's no mention of the fact that the lyrics "care enough to bare me" was changed to "strong enough to hold me" in subsequent live performances. Sarujo (talk) 14:50, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
