Nationalit(y/ies)?

[edit]

Any explicit mention of Campbell's nationality anywhere? Many articles describe him as "Irish", though this may be purely an assumption based on his birthplace and lingering connection to Trinity. He's lived in the US for more than 50 years so may well have US citizenship in addition (or instead). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 15.203.169.107 (talk) 14:44, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Most English-speaking professionals who acquire US citizenship after living and working there do so for tax purposes.--109.149.136.105 (talk) 15:52, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
His place of birth was Londonderry, which was then and is now part of Northern Ireland. Therefore he was born in part of the United Kingdom, and his birth status is British, not Irish. Of course, if you can show he added other nationalities... Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:53, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
