[edit]According to our table of Jacobite Peerages, in 1716 this man received the title of Earl of Jersey, conferred on his father by King William III, from the Pretender, James Francis Edward Stuart. What was he doing that brought this about? J S Ayer (talk) 00:27, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
