World War I or II?
[edit]Smithsonian says WWII, but this image source says WWI. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:39, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
This source also says WWI. ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:41, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
I went ahead and moved the page. Not sure if we want to somehow note that Smithsonian is wrong? ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:45, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
- Here, User:Lockley wrote, "I'm thinking this piece is best described as a "War Memorial", not specific to WWI. This old local newspaper refers to "Frederic Littman, sculptor for the War Memorial". And it just would have been super weird to dedicate a WWI memorial in 1954 although sometimes people are super weird!" Posting here for the record and reminder. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:20, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
