Pushpin Map of Location

[edit]

@CaradhrasAiguo: Could you expand on your rational for reverting the pushpin map at a city level and who "we" are? Wikiproject Lakes participants and the Infobox Body of Water include the pushpin map for orientation of the location for readers who do not know the location. While I can agree that only a country level pushpin map not be as useful as also including a city map, but it is a step in direction for consistency across the lakes articles to provide orientation to readers. Completely reverting having any map for orienting persons not familiar with the location makes the article less accessible to a reader. Can discuss what map(s) would be relevant at the city or region level and keep the country level to start? Wolfgang8741 says: If not you, then who? (talk) 19:02, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
