Grammar Gripes

 ...most unique in the world of military history...

Unique means one-of-a-kind, so the use of any adverb to indicate degree is incorrect. Uniqueness is an absolute; a thing is either unique or it is not unique.

Rather than "...the world of military history..." it would make more sense to write "...the military history of the world..." if that is what you mean.
