Ryu[edit]

Removed RYU since he's of Japanese origin — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.112.121.159 (talk) 06:24, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yoo and RYU are different surnames.
These need to be separated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.16.142.123 (talk) 06:49, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sometimes they are, sometimes they aren't. Not sure how you would go about making the separation, especially if the hanja for a particular person are not known. -- Visviva 08:33, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yu or Yoo?[edit]

I think it should be 'Yu'. English is the only language where the double o (oo) makes an /u/ sound. Also, the Revised Romanization of Korean writes '유' as 'Yu', not 'Yoo'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.200.159.11 (talk) 20:16, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: not moved. No prejudice against a new RM discussing the merits of Yu (Korean name) as a title. Jenks24 (talk) 09:57, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
