Copy editing for clarity. Added/moved subheadings in Publication History to put it in chronological order. Citations are needed for many paragraphs.RedJaguar05 (talk) 18:46, 14 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

12 June, 2007 cleanup

[edit]

I removed the pseudo-referential external link to http://img114.exs.cx/img114/2947/bloodsport24up.jpg; there is no justification for its existence at ImageShack, and the uploader provides no claim that s/he has the right to use it.

I also removed the link to http://goodcomics.blogspot.com/2005/06/comic-book-urban-legends-revealed-2.html, which was similarly being used as a "reference"; Wikipedia:Verifiability states, "Anyone can create a website or pay to have a book published, then claim to be an expert in a certain field. For that reason, self-published books, personal websites, and blogs are largely not acceptable as sources."

However, I also added a "Notes and references" section, with the {{Reflist}} tag, so if someone can provide reliable references for any statements in the article they will be displayed easily.

I did some other minor fixing, and added {{copyedit}} and {{unreferenced}} to attract some more attention for cleanup to the article. PaladinWhite 00:11, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Youngblood.JPG

[edit]

Image:Youngblood.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Youngblood Animated Series

[edit]

OK, I posted what information I could about this, but there's frustratingly little information on-line (Google searches for "animated youngblood" and "youngblood cartoon" appear to turn up all there is.) What I can't confirm from on-line searches, but recall seeing is actual content of the animated Youngblood, though the aforementioned searches confirm its existence. I remember seeing a commercial for the action figures and in the background they played the clip, which I had previously seen stills of, either in Wizard or Heroes Illustrated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.254.112.191 (talk) 11:10, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

First appearance

[edit]

Since the article states "The team made its debut as a backup feature in the 1987 one-shot Megaton: Explosion before later appearing in its own ongoing series in 1992", should the infobox be changed from "First appearance Youngblood #1 (April 1992)" to "First appearance Megaton: Explosion (1987)" ? Merger proposal

[edit]

I believe that the likes of Photon and other Youngblood characters should be merged as there is no little third person sources. Dwanyewest (talk) 16:30, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Response: The character Ballistic should not be merged with Youngblood, because she is a Cyberforce character created by Marc Silvestri, not a Youngblood character created by Rob Liefeld.
