Is this not a single now? I heard it on the radio, wouldn't that mean it's a single? :P —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bookblade19 (talkcontribs) 21:10, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Not according to some editors here. They want actual release dates and whatnots, even announcements of singles aren't enough Fixer23 (talk) 23:21, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
Radio play does not necessarily mean single. Article states it is one of two songs being considered, "Your Love Is My Drug" and "Take it Off". Please provide verifiable source if you have confirmation of next single.—Iknow23 (talk) 00:59, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
So far we have seen it MIGHT BE the next single. This is definately not PROOF that it IS the next single. Please remember that "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable." "Cite your sources: Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).

".—Iknow23 (talk) 02:54, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

thatgrapejuice is again shown to be a UNreliable source. Click on THEIR ref link and it goes to which says nothing about it being a single, just shows that it received Radio spins.—Iknow23 (talk) 03:01, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Single cover[edit]

Why did someone change it?....some anonymous person says that it was fake!?

...I don't even think that it has an official cover yet. So at this point everything is pretty much fake unless anyone can actually provide a link(reference) here that it IS the Official cover. Is that alright? Blueknightex (talk) 12:09, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey guys, it was me who uploaded both photos, and i changed it to the current one. here is the link on which i found the new and old photo. the link i have given use to contain the old cover, but it has now been replaced with this one, that is why i changed it. GA Review[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Your Love Is My Drug/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

Reviewer: Ohh, I love this I'll go ahead and review it. CTJF83 chat 21:18, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

  • Can you please add alt text to both images?
Honestly i have no clue what that means. I had the same issue with a different GA of mine and someone else had to fix it cause i couldnt figure it out. (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:11, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
You just do something like, for the infobox pic, alt=A blond woman on the right side of the album, on the left side is the words "Ke$ha" and "Your Love Is My Drug", the bottom has blue and purple waves...something like that, you can just use that one, I can do the other image if you want. CTJF83 chat 22:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
  • Per an unrelated FAC I had, the 2nd picture messes up the formatting of the headlines, the word "reception" is in the middle, I suggest moving the image to the right to fix this issue (not a requirement for me to pass this GA)
Im put it on the left side because it makes both sections look longer, (trying to cheat the eye :P) (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:11, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
That's fine CTJF83 chat 22:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
  • Under Your_Love_Is_My_Drug#Chart_procession_and_succession it has California Gurls following this song, on that page there is no mention of when California Gurls was number one on Pop Songs chart, so I can't tell when this song fell off the number one, please add it to the page, as now it just says the start date (unless it actually still is number 1)
I could add this to chart performace if you would like? (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:11, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Ya, I at least would like the end date of the song at #1 CTJF83 chat 22:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
    • Is there any reason why, if this song was number 1 on the pop chart, that it isn't listed with the rest of the charts?
I did that because i chose not to include them on Tik Tok, or Blah Blah Blah because she charted high on the main charts so its unneeded, so i didnt include it on this for consistency. (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:11, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Fair enough. CTJF83 chat 22:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
  • Any reason no release date for the US? Or is it the same as the radio date? CTJF83 chat 22:01, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
The radio is the release in the US. The album is out and she/label chose not to release as solo single, rather they just have you buy it as a song. (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:11, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
    • Also I'm not sure 'Radio add dates' is the best heading name, unless this is standard for all songs.
Yes, Radio add dates is in fact correct :) (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:11, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
I'll take your word for that, I looked at 5 song GAs, and none even mention radio release. CTJF83 chat 22:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Everything else looks great, no excessive images, both have proper tags, the article is broad in its coverage, no edit wars, etc, etc. CTJF83 chat 22:01, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Ok, I'm actually off Wikipedia for a while, so I'll pass it when I come back. CTJF83 chat 22:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Additional comments[edit]

  • if you have a copy of the album it would be good to add the recording studio information to the infobox.
I have the acutual CD next to me but i cant read it, its soo blurry. Heres and image of it see if you can read it. image (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 23:00, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
  • the sound sample has been deleted and so a new one needs uploading.  Done
What the heck? Well i uploaded a new one.
  • usual ref issues apply (same as the ones I identified on Tik Tok and Blah Blah Blah (song).
  • also missing from all of the Kesha GA articles is the ALT field from the infobox. This should be done to add alt text for readers who use a visual browers. --Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:22, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for your input. Like I said, I'm off for a little while, so feel free to pass it if I'm not back. CTJF83 chat 22:29, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
No problem, if all the following (and above) are fixed I'll pass it on you're behalf. =P --Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:37, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Ok, we can both confer on passing it. CTJF83 chat 04:07, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Ca you wait 24 hours before passing it. Im waiting for Lil-unique to do something for me regarding the nomination :) (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 04:13, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Oh, for sure, I'll wait until the article is ready. CTJF83 chat 06:46, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Okay, i think everything has been addressed. Ive fixed all the references (i believe). (CK)Lakeshadetalk2me 22:45, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Not quite... there are some ref fixes. I will post them below. --Lil-unique1 (talk) 22:50, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
Okies... if User:CTJF83 is happy I am. I've done my bit of input as said I would. I happy with the referencing. =) --Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:33, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
There is still no date when the song was number 1 Your_Love_Is_My_Drug#Chart_procession_and_succession, and not Alt text, do you want me to do the alt text? CTJF83 chat 19:11, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
I added the alt text, I just need the end date of the song being at number one, since California Gurls page doesn't list it. CTJF83 chat 19:16, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

Ref fixes[edit]

  • ref [2] → Reuters → Reuters.  Done
  • ref [8] → Digital Spy → Digital Spy.  Done
  • ref [15] → Nielsen Business Media should be delinked.  Not done
cannot be done, its a preset chart macro. apologies didn't realise it was chart macro.
  • ref [29] → use {{cite album-notes}}.  Done
  • ref [38] → work=All Access | publisher=All Access Music Group  Done
  • ref [40] → link iTunes and Apple  Done

--Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:01, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Passing. CTJF83 chat 02:29, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

It's number 19 in Germany[1]. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 09:39, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

If publishes it, ill add it. Currently on Blah Blah Blah and Tik Tok have charted - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 09:50, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Billboard Pop Chart[edit]

Could you possibly add "Your Love Is My Drug" achieving the No. 1 top spot in the Billboard Pop Chart, under the Charts and certifications sub heading? The source is: Thanks (talk) 00:37, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Its mentioned under Chart Performance, for WP:GT its not used in Tik Tok, Blah Blah Blah or Take It Off. Thank you though :) - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 00:39, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

It is mentioned in "We R Who We R". I don't understand why it can't be used in Your Love Is My Drug, when that is where it performed best. (talk) 00:58, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

All the pop chart is is radio play. It charted on the Main US Hot 100, thats all thats really needed. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 01:01, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Fair enough then, but surely "We R Who We R" charting at 23 on the Billboard Pop Chart should be removed as it isn't relevant. :) (talk) 01:04, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Im discussing that right now. Seems like consensus wants it added to that page. Oh well, thats a different WP:GT so different ideas may be reached. :) - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 01:08, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Surely then, if they have, then you can add Kesha reaching No.1 in the Billboards Pop Chart to make her look better? I don't see why not :D (talk) 01:10, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Hmmmm, since you asked nicely i guess it wont hurt to add them to the articles. Ill do it in a few minutes :) - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 01:11, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Thank you, a lot of people would appreciate it :D (talk) 01:13, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

 Done - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 01:22, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
