He was never Yehuda in his lifetime, his name was Yudel Moiseevich Pen. Years past his death someone decided that Yehuda sounds better (yes, Yudel derives from Yehuda, but no more than that)--SimulacrumDP (talk) 16:30, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Considering the only Russian name given is transliterated Uri or Yurij (Юрый), why is there this inconsistency at all? Shouldn't a transliteration name be used? --Storkk (talk) 16:24, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
