"Chain"

[edit]

The author of this article seems very fond of the word 'chain'. What exactly does that term mean with reference to this particular group of individually-owned restaurants?

Is Zip's a franchise with a board of directors making decisions for all of the so-called 'chain'? Or is each store controlled by the decisions of individual owners?

A clear distinction should be made, probably in the History section of this article, rather than arbitrarily tossing around the word 'chain'. The former would describe the strength of an expanding enterprise. The latter merely exposes the failure of a few families to dominate and control the entire group. 20 Questions (talk) 02:45, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Weasel words

[edit]

The claim, "perfect American drive-in restaurant", in the History section of this article is not supported by any kind of documentation. Moreover, the term "perfect" is typically considered a weasel word, especially in such a general context. 20 Questions (talk) 21:43, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
