Tamgha-i-Khidmat or Tamgha-e-Khidmat(Urdu: تمغۂ خدمت), which translates as the medal of services, is 5th highest honour given by the Government of Pakistan to both the military and Civil Armed Forces.[1] [2] It is admissible to Junior Commissioned Officers, Non commissioned officers and other ranks for long meritorious or distinguished services of a non-operational nature.

  • Inspector General Duty Khalid Mehmood Raja (خالد محمود راجہ ) decorated with Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military) class l تمغۂ خدمت ملٹری درجہ اول on 23 March 2007 and Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military) class ll تمغۂ خدمت ملٹری درجہ دوم on 14 August 2006 by the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in recognition of his meritorious and distinguished services to nation. He served Pakistan Rangers from 10-9-1973 to 31-10-2012 for more than 39 years in 11 Wing then Sutlej Rangers, 30 Wing, 32 Wing, 33 Wing and 39 Wing of then Indus Rangers, then Pakistan Rangers Training Wing M.B.Din, 60 Wing of then Qasim Rangers, 32 Wing of then Thar Rangers, 51 Wing of then Thar Rangers, 60 Wing of then Ghazi Rangers, 60 Wing of then Sachal Rangers and at then HQ Indus Rangers Hyderabad. He participated in 23rd March Joint Services Pak Day Parade in 1982, 1983, 1984 and 1988 at Rawalpindi and in 1990 at Islamabad. He is Master in Political Science from University of Sindh Jamshoro سندھ یونیورسٹی جامشورو. He belongs to Village Jajja ججہ, Tehsil Gujar Khan, District Rawalpindi.
