42nd Floor Apartment
[edit]- ... that, when he was 27 years old, R. P. Eddy was allowed to live in the "palatial" official residence of the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, in lieu of Ambassador Richard Holbrooke?

- Comment: This is not a review, but I have a question about this article's title. Do any reliable sources refer to the apartment as the "42nd Floor Apartment"? If not, then there may be an issue with WP:NAMINGCRITERIA, which states that
"titles are based on how reliable English-language sources refer to the article's subject"
. It may be better to rename the article something like "Waldorf Residence of the United States Ambassador to the United Nations" (the title used by the Hospitality Business News) or the "Official Residence of the United States Ambassador to the United Nations" (adopted from CBS's description of the penthouse as the "official residence of America's Permanent Representative to the U.N."). Otherwise, this is a very interesting article. Best, -- Notecardforfree (talk) 22:06, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

New enough, long enough, within relevant policies, hook length ok, interesting enough and cited.
A couple of comments though, unrelated to DYK. With the current title the article should (or at least could in principle) include the official residences of ambassadors before the Waldorf Astoria was used in the history section. Also the change of title is not reflected in the navbox, which is now showing a bluelink. Secondly, the picture does not actually include the 42nd floor apartment as it only shows the lower floors. There are ones available that do, File:St Bartholomews and The Waldorf Astoria Hotel.jpg for instance. SpinningSpark 22:37, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
