Allie Reynolds[edit]

Reynolds in 1953

  • Comment: According to my math, this is just a shade under 5x expanded. I may have it up to 5x before a decision is made, but if it's not, WP:IAR?

  • Age, length OK. But this is 100 characters short of a 5x expansion, which basically means adding another paragraph. In addition, some of your references are bald URLs; please see WP:Citation templates to format them. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 00:57, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
  • All bare urls are fixed. I expanded it a little more so it might be at 5x expanded by now, but it only tells me the prose size is 14k, and not if it's at the needed 14,125 yet. – Muboshgu (talk) 01:16, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
  • I'd hate to get overly picky over whether an expansion of this magnitude (more than 11,000 characters) is 4.97x or 5.01x expanded. But as of now, I have it at 5.02, so it looks like the expansion is adequate in any case. I used Word and manually removed the headers, footnote superscripts etc. That gets me from 2,820 characters to 14,168 characters, or 5.02x. It is possible I neglected to remove a superscript or two, but there is 40-60 characters to spare at this point. Rlendog (talk) 17:29, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Bingo! The count is now 3 characters shy of 5x, which is 5x in my book. (By the way, Rlendog, you can do an easier count using this tool.) Now, to the references. As I was formatting more refs, I saw some material that was cited to a source, but wasn't included in the source, for which I added "citation needed" tag. Could you fix this up and then we'll be ready to go? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 18:49, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
  • I took care of the references. As for that unsupported text, I couldn't find anything to back it up. So, I took it out and added in a few other places. According to my calculations, it was a net positive of a few characters, so if anything it's not shy of 5x by anything any more. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:29, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Great, we're ready for the main page. First hook (which I like better) verified; second hook AGF. Yoninah (talk) 13:00, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
