Banksia blechnifolia[edit]

In late bud, Maranoa Gardens
In late bud, Maranoa Gardens
  • ... that the shrub Banksia blechnifolia (pictured) got its name because its leaves resembled those of ferns? (offline source)

5x expanded by Casliber (talk). Self-nominated at 13:03, 6 February 2018 (UTC).

  • @Casliber:
  • Long enough, new enough expansion, neutral in tone.
  • No apparent copyright violations, assuming AGF that offline/paywalled sources aren't too closely paraphrased.
  • I think every paragraph needs to have at least one citation, so if you could add a ref for It is somewhat resistant to dieback. that would be ideal.
  • As per WP:CAPFRAG, the image caption should begin with a capital letter.
  • Hook is stated in article, interesting, and AGF.
  • QPQ has been done.
Will be good to go just as soon as there isn't that unreferenced paragraph. Umimmak (talk) 00:41, 7 February 2018 (UTC)

P.S., I went ahead and capitalized the caption for the DYK hook image. Umimmak (talk) 11:22, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
