- Interesting historic building, on fine sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I think the 1918 image is impressive, - how about including? I confess (again) that I'm not happy with the hooks. First question is that Offices and then a singular verb seems strange, - I understand that you want to avoid Building but then you get a different problem. Queen Victoria is far away, - you know that this is NYC, but how about a random Main page reader? Do you think many people know Yaddo? ALT1 is a lot of numbers, and ALT2 quite similar to the first. Ideas? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:10, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Gerda Arendt: Thanks for the comment. How about any of these?
- ALT3:... that rent from the Bowling Green Offices Building (pictured) was used to fund an art community in upstate New York?
- ALT4:... that the Bowling Green Offices Building (pictured) was once offered as a means to cover a $500 bail amount?
- ALT5:... that tenants of the Bowling Green Offices Building (pictured) included the owner of the RMS Titanic and the Erie Railroad?
- I could propose even more hooks if you want, though this is one of the more nondescript official NYC landmarks I've written about in a while. epicgenius (talk) 21:20, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for all! I like ALT5 best, thinking that Titanic may raise readers's curiosity, more than some art community. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:08, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
