Overall: No QPQ needed, 4th DYK nom. I see "Walking and traveling by pony, the family reached Boston", while the source only mentions the pony, not the walking. But my main issue is with the page title: I don't see a single reference to him as "Bright Star", they are all as "Fred B. Murree", "Fred Murree", or "Fred "Bright Star" Murree". Since Fred Murree is a red link, I think we should move this page to that title (and leave the current Bright Star (roller skater) as a redirect there). We should call a person what most reliable sources call them. That shouldn't disqualify the DYK, but is kind of a big deal. GRuban (talk) 01:31, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
I chose to use the page title "Bright Star" because that is how the subject identified himself in promotional material and correspondence. Observing that other performers like Madonna and Prince, and other native people like Wovoka are titled with their chosen names, I figured that was the standard practice. You are indeed correct that the subject is mainly referred to as "Fred Murree" by sources. I'm open to whatever Wikipedia's governing policy is on this quesiton. Hi, I came by to promote this, but the page needs to be moved to Fred Murree and the lead changed to Fred Murree, also known as Bright Star per WP:COMMONNAME. The Early life section should begin: He was born Bright Star... I will take care of adjusting this template after the page move. Thank you, Yoninah (talk) 20:36, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
Thank you Yoninah for pointing to the correct policy on this. I have moved the page and changed the opening line per you suggestion. I did not however write He was born Bright Star... because the sources do not indicate the subject's name at birth. It is not clear if "Bright Star" is a given name or a stage name. Thank you for taking care of that. I tidied up some links to other pages and also formatted this template after the page move. Restoring tick per GRuban's review. Yoninah (talk) 01:03, 11 November 2020 (UTC)
