- Not sure the image is particularly hooky, but I love the first hook. For some reason the direct link to ODNB doesn't work despite the URL being correct, but I was able to verify the ODNB references through looking it up directly. All looks in order. One thing I'd ask is why the lede says she went by the name "Charlotte Smales" as I can't see this in the ODNB reference (beyond a note that she was sometimes confused with her mother) or explained in the article, but as it was her mother's name, I suppose it's possible. But please explain - once that is clarified, it should be absolutely fine to go. Mabalu (talk) 10:29, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
- Well spotted! @Mabalu: The other name came from an earlier version.... The nature of her biography has changed substantially and this article has been written and corrected a lot. I've removed the alt name. I agree about the image. I was so thrilled by the coincidence that we could still find a page with their enigmas side by side. I'll fix the link.
