  • I added an ALT1. It'd be good to run this on a Thursday. Joseph2302 (talk) 07:45, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
  • DYK is currently on 1 set per day, but I agree that if it goes to 2 sets per day, Thursday pm would be best slot. Joseph2302 (talk) 07:57, 8 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Is there a way of ensuring that when people click on the image in the article they go straight to the enlarged version showing the individual faces? It currently takes several clicks to get there. Philafrenzy (talk) 07:31, 9 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Hi there, I'm the user that uploaded the image used within the article and suggested for this DYK. Just want to update you to say that the image is in the process of being OTRS approved under release of CC BY-SA 4.0 (I believe), so can be used in the DYK. Mthowells200130 (talk) 13:53, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
    • Update: it's CC BY 4.0 so can be used. Hope it gets accepted, definitely a currently significant topic! Mthowells200130 (talk) 15:20, 23 April 2020 (UTC)
Interesting article, on good sources, no copyvio obvious. Hooks good, I'd prefer the ALT, and why not thursday night UK time - knowing that for other readers, Thursday night is a different time. I like the image, but I miss how that would be connected to the hook. Please find a way. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:15, 2 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks @Gerda Arendt:...Pinging @Philafrenzy: on this. Whispyhistory (talk) 19:37, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
I think you also could add something like (abc pictured), with "abc" in need to be defined. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:41, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
  • ALT1a:... that Britons are being urged to Clap for our Carers (collage of health workers pictured) on Thursday evenings during the COVID-19 pandemic? Philafrenzy (talk) 21:52, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
I like this ALT but think we should get the Thursdays and pandemic to the front, to make sure that it's not any health workers. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:51, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
  • ALT1b:... that every Thursday evening, Britons are being urged to Clap for our Carers (collage of health workers pictured) during the COVID-19 pandemic? Philafrenzy (talk) 07:43, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
Well if you separate Thursday and pandemic, it becomes wrong, because it's not about "every Thursday". I try for you
ALT1c: ... that during the COVID-19 pandemic, Britons are being urged to Clap for our Carers (collage of health workers pictured) on Thursday evenings? and
approve it. It someone thinks by different order it becomes "my" hook, someone can please also approve it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:11, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Sorry but Alt1c is unreadable. I offer a version of 1b:
ALT1d:... that Britons are being urged to Clap for our Carers (collage of health workers pictured) every Thursday evening during the COVID-19 pandemic? The subject is the clap so that should lead. Philafrenzy (talk) 12:49, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
You will need someone else to approve that, because - as said before - it then talks about any health workers, until limited to COVID-19 much later. In ALT1c, the link to the clap is still the first, so I fail understanding you objection. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:04, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Alt1d needs a review? Kingsif (talk) 03:01, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
