- Article is new and long enough. There is no evidence of close para-phrasing or copyvio. The hook fact is interesting; but the article only states that he became "the first African-American flag officer in the history of the North Carolina Air National Guard", while the supporting source states that he was "the first African-American brigadier general for the NCANG"; to a layperson such as myself, this isn't obviously the same as being the first African-American chief of staff. Is there another source which states it explicitly? Harrias talk 07:55, 3 August 2019 (UTC)
