  • ... that a hoard of 800 gold coins (example pictured) of king Govindachandra was discovered at Nanpara?
Source: [1]: "The gold dramma coins of this king, often in extremely base metal, are abundant. Eight hundred of them were found in 1887 near Nanpara in the Bahraich District, Oudh, during the construction of the Bengal and North-Western Railway." [2]"Some copper and gold coins of Govindachandra have been discovered in northern India. Of these the latter are more abundant, for in 1887 Nanpara in the Bahraich district of U. P. alone yielded a hoard of 800 gold Drammas. [3]: "A large number of coins of Govindachandra have been discovered in the vicinity of Kanauj and also from eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. As many as 800 gold coins have been discovered from Nanpara in the Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh."
