- ... that Howard Gobioff was one of the architects of the Google File System, which allowed for computation speeds never before possible?
- Reviewed: New nominators are exempt from the review requirement, according to the DYK rules. Nevertheless, I may still review a submission in order to experience the process, that is, once I've had time to familiarize myself more with the process. If I do so, I will post that here once it's done.

Long enough, new enough, QPQ unnecessary, no copyvios found, hook short enough and sourced. My only moan is that ledes do not necessarily need references - they merely summarise the contents of the main body of text, and should be incorporated into the main body. That said, that's not a DYK requirement and this is good to go - consider doing that in your own time.--Launchballer 08:04, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
