Joe Warbrick
[edit]- ... that New Zealand rugby union player Joe Warbrick (pictured) was killed by an eruption of the Waimangu Geyser?
ALT1:... that New Zealand rugby union player Joe Warbrick (pictured) was killed by an eruption of the world's largest geyser?- Reviewed: Not a self-nomination
Improved to Good Article status by Shudde (talk). Nominated by Oceanh (talk) at 21:00, 25 August 2014 (UTC).
- Promoted to GA on 22 August. Length, neutrality and references are okay; spotcheck of references revealed no copyvio. The original hook is interesting and cited, but I've struck ALT1 since I think it's misleading to describe the geyser as the world's largest (it isn't anymore, and even if it were the largest at the time, this seems like it would be very difficult to confirm). The image is in the public domain. Good to go. 97198 (talk) 12:19, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
