General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

QPQ: None required.

Overall: All good, however, the hook isn't mentioned by the two sources provided in the article. Makeandtoss (talk) 14:36, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

Makeandtoss, reference has been added. Regards! —OluwaCurtis »» (talk to me) 15:03, 7 March 2016 (UTC)

  • The first two sources for his being the "first" do not mention that distinction. I question the reliability of the third source, All Champion Newspaper. Yoninah (talk) 01:22, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
Yoninah, I have added The National Helm which states him as the first Nigerian to release an album. —OluwaCurtis »» (talk to me) 07:11, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Actually, that also doesn't look like such a reliable source, so I removed it. I found the information clearly stated in the Ádébáyò Ádésóyè source, and added that to the end of the sentence. I removed the British Library source, which didn't support the citation, but would encourage you to reread the British Library and other sources to add more information to the article. But the hook ref is verified and cited inline, so restoring approval tick. Best, Yoninah (talk) 23:08, 23 March 2016 (UTC)
