List of highest-grossing films in India
[edit]- ... that Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the highest grossing film in India, with a domestic collection of ₹12.53 billion? Source: Quote - "The film grossed around Rs 1253 crore at the domestic box-office", link.
- ALT1:... that The Jungle Book is the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India, with a collection of ₹1830 million? Source: quote- " “The Jungle Book” shattered all the previous records held by any Hollywood film released in India, earning approximately 183 crores." link
- Comment: qpq not needed as I have less than 5 DYK credits. Number in crores has been converted to millions and billions as most people won't recognise them. Thanks. King Prithviraj II (talk) 19:13, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

- Comment: A hook that mentions Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is more likely to get more page views. 86.99.12.23 (talk) 18:51, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- The first hook is always the first choice for DYK, ALT1 is an alternative to the first hook in case there are any problems with the first hook. King Prithviraj II (talk) 12:08, 2 October 2017 (UTC)

- This list is new enough and long enough. The hook fact is cited to a reliable source and in fact the list is well-cited throughout. The article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. No QPQ needed. Approving the original hook as likely to garner the most clicks. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:24, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't understand what the squiggly symbol before the amount 12.53 means. Should it be linked to crore? Yoninah (talk) 23:01, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: It is the symbol of the Indian rupee. It should probably be linked to Indian rupee. King Prithviraj II (talk) 11:30, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
- Linked in the original hook, as it won't be obvious to most readers who are not Indian. King Prithviraj II (talk) 15:38, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
