ALT1:... that when Luis Posada Carriles was arrested in Panama for plotting the assassination of Cuban President Fidel Castro, $200,000 were raised to fund his defense through efforts on Miami radio?
ALT2:... that while facing trial in Venezuela for the bombing of Cubana flight 455, Luis Posada Carriles escaped to Chile, expecting to be welcomed, but was quickly returned to Venezuelan custody?
Overall: It's easier to verify your hook if you include the sources on the DYK page, as recommended. Catrìona (talk) 16:08, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
Approving all three hooks, but I prefer the original. Catrìona (talk) 16:08, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
Thanks for the review. To be quite honest, I find it tiresome to put sources here, as I frequently patch together hooks from a number of different places in the article; and the reviewer is required to check that it's in the article and sourced therein anyhow, so I've never bothered.
