MS Sinfra[edit]

  • ... that when the cargo ship Sinfra was bombed by Allied aircraft in 1943, the German guards machine-gunned the thousands of Italian prisoners on board when they tried to escape the sinking vessel?

5x expanded by Manxruler (talk). Nominated by Manxruler (talk) at 17:15, 22 August 2015 (UTC).

  • Flattered as I am to be co-nominated, my contribution amounts to ¾ of a paragraph, so I'm withdrawing my name from this nom. Manxruler has put in all the hard work. Mjroots (talk) 09:02, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
  • The length and date of expansion check out fine. The hook is interesting, if morose, and appropriately cited inline in the article. The sources are in German, but a combination of my shoddy German and Google's translation confirms it is talking about the same thing at least! No significant checks can be carried out for copyvio or close para-phrasing for similar reasons, so I am happy to AGF. Harrias talk 12:16, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
