Mark W. Bullard

[edit]

Source: Oregon State Archives’ on-line "Lake County History" page says: "The land for the first courthouse was donated by one of the area’s first settlers, M.W. Bullard." Oregon Geographic Names (Seventh Edition) by Lewis A. McArthur (p. 557) says: "M.W. Bullard … in the first county seat election, offered 20 acres of land should his place be chosen. This choice was made at an election in 1876, and Bullard gave the land for the courthouse." This second source is not available on-line.

  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no policy issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 13:10, 4 July 2017 (UTC)
