Peter Woon

[edit]
  • ... that Peter Woon supported the introduction of female newsreaders at the BBC, though he was concerned that most "sound as though they came from Cheltenham Ladies' College"?
  • ALT1:... that Peter Woon called bias allegations on BBC wrong in regards to coverage of 1984–85 UK miners' strike?
  • ALT2:... that Peter Woon worked for BBC as a television news editor and then the network's representative for the United States?
  • Comment: I have less than 5 DYK credits, so QPQ not required.

Moved to mainspace by Arthur goes shopping (talk). Self nominated at 12:44, 19 March 2015 (UTC).

  • I added ALT1 and ALT2. --George Ho (talk) 19:13, 19 March 2015 (UTC)
  • New enough, long enough, adequately referenced, neutrally written (and nicely written), no close paraphrasing seen. I like the original hook a lot; hook ref verified and cited inline. According to QPQ check, you had 5 DYK credits as of March 16, 2015, 3 days before this nomination, so a QPQ is in order. Yoninah (talk) 20:43, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks Yoninah! I will go and review a couple. It might take me a day or two as I'm slightly wrapped up with other things. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 10:36, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks. QPQ done. Good to go. Yoninah (talk) 10:06, 30 April 2015 (UTC)
