- Almost. Article is long enough, expanded by at least 5X, hook is cited, article is within policy, and QPQ fulfilled. Hook needs revising. If Ling was a co-inventor, should Lee also be named? And is it specifically the Exeter Hip that has been used in millions of of people, or hip replacement parts from various manufacturers, modeled after the Exeter Hip? - In reviewing the article, I did some light copy editing throughout for grammar, a bit for content. Please read through article to make sure I did not change meaning. David notMD (talk) 11:51, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for reviewing. Yes, Lee should be mentioned and I have added in amended hook. Although sources say 'manufacturers copied the hip'...actually its the basic philosophy and principle of The Exeter Hip that has remained unchanged and copied. Modifications have since been made and copied.[[1]] Whispyhistory (talk) 12:30, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- Good to go with the amended hook (long enough, expanded by5X, cited hook, NPOV, QPQ). Prefer proposed hook over ALT1. Made minor changes of capitalizing "H" in the way the link appears and reverting to "Robin Ling" appearing as such in the hook. Yes, "Ling and Lee" was alliterative, but there are too many Wikipedia articles with "Ling". David notMD (talk) 13:19, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- thank you, proposed hook ok. Whispyhistory (talk) 13:31, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
