Ticketer

[edit]
  • ... that the Ticketer range of ticket machines allow for the depot to send messages to drivers via the machine itself? Source: "With our latest innovation, it is now possible to stay in touch with your drivers through data (text) messaging, allowing them to receive messages from you almost instantaneously, and read them when it is safe to do so." [1]
    • ALT1:... that the introduction of Ticketer ticket machines on Reading Transport buses meant that 11,000 pre-paid cards had to be reissued? Source: "New Ticketer machines were introduced on the entire fleet of Reading Transport buses on Sunday, March 27, requiring all 11,500 customers who hold pre-paid passes to be sent new cards." [2]

  • Article is new, nominated within deadline and about a notable topic. The article is long enough, hooks meet the character limit. Earwig's tool reports copyvio unlikely (1% match). The article is cited, though a few of the citations seem to be the company's website or a company presentation (primary sources?). The article uses two images, one has no copyvio issues, the other is the company logo where fair use guidelines apply. @My name is not dave: couple of questions: [1] for the record, are there more non-company RS we can cite? [2] which DYK nom did you review for your QPQ credit? [3] can we tweak the hooks to make them more hooky? Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 23:21, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
@My name is not dave and Ms Sarah Welch: I should be able to help with non-company RS in the next couple of days: I have access to some specialist publications. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 07:51, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
Cheers! My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 12:20, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
@Ms Sarah Welch: QPQ: not necessary, I thought. This is my first DYK. Hooky hooks: Please do! RS: Hopefully Hassocks5489 can dig something up, and I'll go for more searching as well. My name isnotdave (talk/contribs) 12:20, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
My name is not dave: Welcome to DYK then. This is the first serving of your free 5 allowance! The DYK nom looks fine then, other than the need for some non-company RS. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 13:38, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
@My name is not dave and Ms Sarah Welch: I've expanded as far as possible using my sources. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 22:56, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
for main and ALT1 hook, GTG. Accepting the journal article summary added on AGF, @My name is not dave: Hassocks5489 has nearly doubled the article, please check and consider sharing the DYK credit. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 01:16, 19 August 2017 (UTC)
