- November 18, 00:00 (UTC) would be great, because the conference begins at 03:00 (UTC). :) — aηsuмaη ツ ༽Ϟ 16:57, 12 November 2011 (UTC)

- Thanks to AshLin for working on it, but it still retains "issues relating to India on Wikipedia, English and Indic language Wikipedia projects [...] in the country" and "based on their level of contribution to Wikimedia projects", both directly lifted from their sources. Even if those are fixed, I would not feel comfortable okaying this without checking each sentence of the article against the sources, which I'm not prepared to do. And I find it especially embarrassing that an article about a Wiki event would contain plagiarism. I won't be looking at it any more, but I will have no objection if it's fixed and someone else wants to give final approval. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 19:52, 15 November 2011 (UTC)

- I have doubts about the suitability to promote this within a few hours. The following issues IMHO must be solved before featuring this article:
- Hook not supported by any source---The keynote address comes after the opening, Wales will not open this conference.
- Hook cannot simply be changed into "...will be the keynote speaker..." because the reference supporting this is self-published.
- The copyright violations tag must be removed and the issue be solved, of course. --Pgallert (talk) 19:03, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- Hello, I have removed all the plagiarism. Only the Tag need to be removed. ALT1...that the three day Wiki Conference India is running from 18th to 20th of November at the University of Mumbai? Thank you. -- aηsuмaη :) ༽Ϟ 07:28, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
- ALT1 Checked against all listed sources and removed one last bit of close paraphrasing. Someone else removed the copyvio tag in the mean time. Commented out the section on sponsors because it is referenced only by dependent sources. Rearranged headlines to avoid one-section paragraphs. Re-checked length, date, and picture license, and found them to be ok. In this state it should be good to go. --Pgallert (talk) 14:26, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
