The result of the move request was: moved. Jenks24 (talk) 16:30, 29 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Template:RM → ? – The title of this template can easily be confused with {{Requested move}}, especially due to WP:RM redirecting to Wikipedia:Requested moves. A possible new title for this template could be Template:RM (cash), but I do understand that the length of that title possibly upsets the purpose of this shortly-named template (and thus, why I didn't recommend that in my actual move request.) Currently, this template has only 45 transclusions: my recommendation is to move the template (to whatever new title), substitute all current transclusions with the new name (so that no existing uses of this template break), and then retarget Template:RM to Template:Requested move. (I cannot count how many times I accidentally used {{RM}} instead of {{Requested move}} when I started editing Wikipedia: I would imagine that others have had the same issue.) • Comment why is this a road template? The link on the template is for a monetary currency, and not a road topic. Indeed the proper monetary template is called {{MYR}} -- I don't think it's a good idea for roads to maintain a separate set of currency templates apart from the currency template system. -- 67.70.32.20 (talk) 04:47, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to be part of a template series for disambiguating toll roads by fare media, rather than a general template for indicating things denominated in ringgit. 209.211.131.181 (talk) 05:35, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose I've never seen this template until today, and I've requested lots of page moves in the past. I've always copied the template from WP:RM#CM (IE the one that starts "subst:Requested move.." Even the template's instructions state "This template should always be substituted, i.e. use {{subst:Requested move}}." Template:RM is not the same as WP:RM, as it's in a different namespace. • What I am referring to is that in several cases, the Wikipedia-namespace shortcut that targets a discussion forum usually also has a template or template redirect that matches its most common or known shortcuts. Compare this to WP:RFD and {{RFD}}, WP:TFD and {{TFD}}, or WP:CFD and {{CFD}}. Helping editors use Wikipedia functions by associating template and template shortcuts with the forums' shortcuts seems to be the precedent. Steel1943 (talk) 11:24, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
