The Kitchen is a cooking-themed talk show that airs on Food Network. The series is presented by Food Network chefs Sunny Anderson and Jeff Mauro (who also hosts the Cooking for Real and Sandwich King); as well as chef Katie Lee and Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian. The series premiered on January 4, 2014 (2014-01-04).[1]

On February 20, 2014 (2014-02-20), it was announced that the series had been renewed for a second season,[2] which began airing on April 19, 2014 (2014-04-19). The series is currently in its fifteeenth season, which began airing on October 14th, 2017. Marcela Valladolid announced her departure from the show on October 18, 2017 citing desire to focus on family. [3]
