After being banished from the Lost Light crew after the attack of the Decepticon Justice Division, Drift travels the universe protecting the universe from rouge Decepticons. After capturing three Decepticons and attempting to deliver them to the Galactic Councle, Drift encounters Ratchet, who has left the Lost Light in hopes of bringing back Drift. The leader of the Decepticon group attempts to be released by telling them about the main Decepticon base on a distant planet. Ratchet and Drift travel to the planet only to be shot down by Decepticons. Drift recalls to when he used to be Deadlock and discovered the place with a fellow Decepticon. Drift and Ratchet team of with the group leader to stop Gigatron from discovering an ancient stone army for his own evil purposes.
