Due to work and family commitments, as well as stuff I want to do in the real world (working on my family tree, sorting out my own websites, etc), I won't be on Wikipedia as much as I used to! I hope to get onto Wikipedia most days (even if it is using my mobile phone and my alternative account Phantomsteve.alt.) However, there may be times when I can't get online. Please leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can - and don't be offended if another editor who watches this page replies!

I live in Croydon, UK. I was a primary school teacher, but have recently left the profession.

I have used Wikipedia for research, and joined on the 25th May 2005, when I wanted to add to the entry on Thornton Heath to update the information about the Pond!

I received my first vandalism on this page today (27th July 2009) - from an IP whose edits I had reverted for presumed vandalism. I'm guessing that shows that I was right about it being vandalism!

Since I have been doing more vandalism patrolling, not surprisingly I am getting more vandalism to this page (and my talk page) - it makes no difference to me, as I (or another editor) will just roll it back...
