Windows Mönch are the alpha and beta test versions of Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs. Windows Mönch instead of the Google Pack with Mozilla Firefox, has Internet Explorer 5 (I think...), Microsoft Office Word Viewer, and Windows Messenger (as always). These were created in 2005, 3 years after Windows XP came out. Released in July 2006 as Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs, they give you an option to install the Google Pack. Since this was designed for older PCs, not able to handle Windows XP or [Windows Vista]], the gace you worse graphics, as in "everything was fuzzy". Mönch is strong enough to play games, just not much. It is only a low-power, combined version of Windows XP and Windows 2000. For more info see Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs.

Just like previous Microsoft Windows codenames, Zach Van Nuys, Mönch is the name of a mountain. Whistler and Blackcomb are in British Columbia; Eiger (the codename for Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs) and Mönch are located in Switzerland.
