I was born on May 4, 1973 in York, Pennsylvania. I was raised in the York area and moved to the Poconos, PA in 1985 at 12 years old. I played trumpet in high school and many music idols, some of who I played with are Clark Terry, Phil Woods, Al Cohn, Al Jarreau, and Urbie Green (whose boys, Casey and Jesse Green went to high school with me). Throughout high school I had many hobbies including running a BBS, playing tennis, and basketball.
After high school, I joined the United States Army on Halloween morning, 1991. I served at Ft. Bliss, and have been to Ft. Irwin, and Kuwait (Gulf War). I was a 19D Cavalry Scout. I served in K Troop 3/3 ACR for my entire enlistment. I was honorably discharged from the Army in 1994, serving my 3 years and was a Specialist at that time.
I eventually went into a career as a PC Technician and supported many schools and businesses in the Eastern Pennsylvania area.
I burnt out fairly quickly and went into Technical Writing and did that for 10 years in the NYC area.
I moved to Appleton, Wisconsin in May of 2005 and live with my Wife and her kids. After moving to WI, I worked from home for the same company I had been working at when I left NYC. In December of 2009 I was laid off and spent a few years looking for work. I decided to go back to school in 2011 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh at achieved a B.S in Computer Science. I have been a Software Developer for a Mortgage Services company since December 2014.
I'm an avid Oakland Raiders fan too, hence my User Page Theme. I was a Volleyball Player and also Coach of USA Volleyball girl's club and boy's high school varsity for almost 10 years and the creator of The WikiProject for Volleyball.
