So I just made this account and apparently I should write an article about Cleve Bobs. I'm like Steve Jobs, but better. Once you read about Cleve and his extraordinary life, you may begin to think of him as better than Steve. But I promise you, he's not. He and Steve were actually great friends and had been since they were children. Maybe that's a good place to start this this.
Childhood
[edit]Cleven was born in Bugtussle, Kentucky on April 20, 1969. In school he was the captain of the chess club, the teachers always got him to mark the tests, and he ate with the lunch lady every day. I mean, he was living the life... until he wasn't *cue ominous music*. One day, Cleve was on his way to school extra early, when he spotted something glowing on the side of the road. Being the curious child he was, he bent down to inspect whatever this was. As Cleve got closer to it, he saw that it had a timer on it set to 1 hour. At this moment, Cleve realized that the thing he was looking at was a radioactive bomb! He knew that if he wanted to maintain his heroic reputation (which he got from saving a child from a whale's mouth), he would have to disable it. Even if it meant risking his own life.
Cleve quickly snatched up the bomb and began doing all of his nerd stuff. Although he was only 12, he had already received multiple degrees at Harvard. When he was almost finished coding and snipping wires, he found a problem; the last wire required him to answer a riddle before it could be cut. Despite the fact that he had won 4 Nobel Prizes, he was never able to solve a riddle. Cleve stared in disbelief as he thought about the soon to be fate of his town, but he quickly snapped out of it. He would not be known as "The boy that blew up his town after struggling to solve a riddle". Cleve was a hustler. After a little self pep-talk, he pressed the button to receive the riddle. It read "What starts with a T, ends with a T, and has an N in it?". Cleve wracked his brain trying to think of what the answer could possibly be, but nothing came to him. He had 10 minutes left before the bomb would detonate. Tent, twiniest, tint, taunt, thermoluminescent, he tried them all, but none of them were correct. Just 1 minute remained until he would explode with the rest of his beloved town. Thermoelement, tranquilest, televangelist, trampolinist, triumphant. As Cleve saw the timer hit 30 seconds, he began to accept his inevitable fate. He rested the bomb on a rock, and sat down. Cleve watched the timer pass 20, and then 10, and then 5. When it was at one, the screen told him what the word was. The word that somehow slipped Cleves mind was, "TNT". Ironic.
He braced for impact, but to his surprise, there was nothing. It turned out that what he thought was a bomb, was actually his own timer. He had forgotten that he set it to try and walk to school in less than an hour. Cleve was later diagnosed with short term memory loss and they all live happily ever after.
