Vladimir Muñoz, professionally known as Vladi Cachai (Valparaíso, June 9, 1983), is a Chilean music producer and mixing engineer. He has worked with artists such as Nacho (singer,) Don Omar, Gloria Trevi, Justin Quiles, Alcover, Maffio, and Paloma Mami. [1] He has participated in television productions and events such as Telethon, Pepsi, the 2011 Copa América (TVN).

Career[edit]

In his early career, he worked with Dj Méndez producing several songs of the album Made in Chile (2010.) With these records Vladi Cachai obtained the Gold Record recognition. [1][2] "Josephine," "Playing with Fire," and "Mi Chile" are among in this album. The latter was released at the 2010 Telethon at the National Stadium and named the 2011 South American Football Cup's main song.

He has collaborated with world-class artists such as Don Omar by producing a remix of the well-known song "Taboo."[2][3][4] He also worked with Alcover for the single "Grande" by Gloria Trevi and Mónica Naranjo. The song reached # 1 in Spain. By the hand of Nacho, a successful Venezuelan singer, Vladimir participated as an engineer on the album "UNO." The album reached 3.5 million plays in the United States, giving the Chilean producer a Platinum Plaque.[2] Besides, he worked in Miami with Alcover, the iconic producer of "Danza Kuduro." Vladimir produced "Don't Talk About Me," a song by Paloma Mami.  This project achieved a Gold Record in the United States and Chile. Plus, the song "Mami," where he was Recording Engineer, reached Platinum Record.

Vladimir produced music for TV shows such as the famous docu-reality "Los Méndez." That same year he produced the Teletón anthem with Don Francisco as the host. Additionally, he produced the main theme song for the TVN's soap opera "Un Diablo con Angel," and Mega's (Chilean TV channel) "Todos Juntos" by Los Jaivas. Vladimir Muñioz also produced the sports section background song for TVN.

Vladimir owns his independent label called "Brodasbeats" which has released songs like "Caribe" by DW and Solo di Medina. This was the label's first song, peaking #1 in Chile and charting in the Spotify, Shazam, and iTunes Top 10.

In 2020 the producer released: "Money" and "Fumando Marijuana" with Maffio,[2] "Yo Bailo" with Power Peralta, and "Ya lo Verás" with Alcover, Adriel Favela, and Bryant Myers. In 2020, Vladimir participated with Paloma Mami in Pepsi's commercial's musical production "And why not a Pepsi Zero?". At the end of 2020, Vladimir Muñoz joined Peace Music Management's roster, including Javiera Mena, Eduardo Cabra, and Superlitio.
