Sometimes, the people I encounter on Wikipedia puzzle me. I wonder what they are thinking. I really do. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:51, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
Can we create two articles (actually, two separate lists about the same things) when contents of one of which completely subsumes the other? Please answer this here. Or here. I mean, is there a policy expressly allowing or negating it? BTW, I have asked about it to someone else too, but the editor is taking time, so I am asking this to you. I hope you don't mind.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Please give me a {{tb}} on my talk page (just in case I forget to check this page again). Mrt3366(Talk?) 07:59, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
I don't feel like I'm following that discussion well enough to have an opinion about it. WP:CONTENTFORK might be relevant, or maybe it isn't. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:32, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
Hey FisherQueen. First of all thank you for responding so quickly about my article. I am kind of puzzled as to why the article Noel Capon was deleted on grounds of what object/person it is. He is my professor at Columbia University and also a recognized author. - Vinay Vnypll (talk) 14:44, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
I didn't see that- there was a formatting error that caused me to only view the introductory infobox, and I mistook it for someone's resume! I've moved the deleted article to your user talk page, so you can finish adding the independent sources that will verify that he meets the notability criteria for professors and then put it back up. Sorry! I did not even see that there was more to the article than was visible on the screen. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 14:47, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
I'm so gullible- I thought "Cape Hill" was a real television show and it was just these characters that were fake. Sigh. I'm disappointed in myself for inadequate research. Now I'll need to cheer myself up with a picture of kittens. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:21, 3 July 2012 (UTC)
For calm yet persistent deletion work today, particularly regarding the Red Cross... Yunshui雲水 13:35, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
In my opinion, that's a clear case of good faith combined with persistent misunderstanding about what would be useful for the encyclopedia. Definitely probably. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:37, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
Aww, you're just too nice... Speaking of which, would you mind revisiting Nishanth kennath at some point? Yunshui雲水 13:48, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
Hello, you've proposed this for deletion, and understandably, as it is one long advert. However, I've now reverted it to my last, very short, version. Please have another look. Rothorpe (talk) 15:40, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
It was so rich with adspeak that I didn't even realize it was a television channel. I like what you've done, though in the longer term someone is still going to have to add the obligatory sources. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:43, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Indeed. We'll see what happens. Rothorpe (talk) 15:56, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
What is going on? I am new and haven't really been in trouble as such but I have read the guidelines and have edited in the best way possible. The reason I patrol IP edits is because I don't really know how to do anything else on wiki except recent changes patrol etc. and I found that IP addresses usually vandalise most. TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk) 15:42, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure what is going on. Your edits look fine to me; we do get lots of new users causing problems but I'm not sure what would make you look like one of them. I'd say, ignore it and carry on making useful edits. If there is a problem, it'll become more clear. Not many new users pick up on patrolling as a thing that can be done right away, but I did roughly what you're doing. And now look at me, a Mighty Administrator! (As someone once said, 'That's the smallest amount of power I've ever seen go to someone's head.') -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:43, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
I'm patrolling as I don't know how to do anything else! I must learn though soon as patrolling will get boring. Patrolling does seem the easiest thing though for a new person. TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk) 15:48, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Don't worry. Patrolling is useful. And sometimes amusing. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:50, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
I don't really have much I can say better than it's said at WP:WELCOME. Have fun, be nice, be useful? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:54, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Ok thanks, I look forward to maybe co-operating with you in the near or not so near future! TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk) 15:56, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
I really aren't trying to vandalise wikipedia, I just made a mistake earlier with a edit that had gay perve in which was actually encyclopaedic but I thought was vandalism. Also I reverted the other edit because it was a load of random letter so I gad vandalism warning later found it was invalid image path and changed warning to notice advising on images. Thanks TheIrishWarden - Irish and proud (talk) 18:54, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
I know you generally avoid the drama boards but just FYI there is now a thread about this at ANI. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:38, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. I actually unwatched both parties, so I will go see what the what is. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 00:52, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
I just got through reporting an account named FisherQueen Must go that was nothing but an attack account against you who was trying to set up a "petition" to get you "banned". The user just got blocked a few minutes ago. Have you heard of this account before? Thebestofall007 (talk) 04:28, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
The blocking admin indicated on the log that it was an WP:LTA case. Best approach qith them is WP:RBI. Beeblebrox (talk) 17:46, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
