Laura Felpin est a french actress, videomaker and comedian, born on February 26th in Mulhouse.

Biography

Youth and beginnings

Laura Felpin is born in 1990[1] in Mulhouse[2] and grows up in Kingersheim, Alsace[3]. Following two years of study in Strasbourg's university, she goes to Paris where she starts training in acting at Blanche Salant and Paul Weaver International Workshop, where she first developps her characters[4]. She's regularly active on social medias such as Instagram and YouTube, on which she posts skits and parodies[5]. She also does dubbing for cinema and television.

Laura Felpin and her friend Anna Apter participate to the contest of director and president of the No Gynophobia association, Lisa Azuelos, battling against violence to women[6]. Together they make a video using Snapchat and are awarded best short film by the jury of the Ensemble contre la gynophobie association for their movie denouncing violence against women[7].

TV and first show

In september 2019, she joins the comedians team of Quotidien on channel TMC, next to Alison Wheeler and Pablo Mira[8]. On season 2020, Laura Felpin remains on the show to present the weather by playing "eccentric characters"[9], but her contribution to the show is canceled after a month, without any comments from the production team or herself[10].

Laura Felpin writes her first show, entitled Ça passe, and performs at the Comédie de Paris in February 2022[11]. The actress puts in scene many characters, some of which are inspired by her school teachers[12].

She is accompanied by Cédric Salaun, best friend as well as co-author and producer.

On March 10 2023 Amazon Prime airs the TH show LOL: qui rit, sort ! in which Laura Felpin participates.
