The Russian Civil War that lasted from 2035 to 2040 was a civil war that took place in Russia between the Russian Federation and the Russian National Liberation Coalition. The war was a direct result of the conclusion of the Russo-Ukrainian War and the civil unrest within Russia that followed as a result. The war saw attempts by the NATO countries, as well as China, to prop up the Russian Federation government against the rival Russian government headed by the Russian National Liberation Coalition, a coalition of anti-federation military groups and political movements. It resulted in the collapse of the Russian Federation and the establishment of the Russian Republic headed by the RNLC.
