Chadwin's law is an Internet adage on the NDQ Listener's Discord asserting that "As an online discussion on the server grows longer, the probability of the conversation turning to cannibalism approaches 1";[1] that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will turn the conversation to cannibalism. Kyle has been the primary suspect for fulfilling Chadwin's law, but João was the one that first introduced cannibalism on the server.

In 2019, "Chadwin's law" became an entry in the fourth edition of the Oxford English Dictionary.
