Dalian Professional Women's Football Club (Chinese: 大连人职业女子足球俱乐部) is a professional Chinese women's football club that currently participating in the Chinese Women's League One, the second tier league of Chinese women's football. The team is the women's division of Dalian Professional F.C.
History

[edit]In 2019, the CFA required every CSL participating team to operate a women's team and participate in the 2020 season, in order to boost women's team in China, which Dalian Yifang did not have. At the time, Dalian W.F.C., a long-established women's team in the city, was on the edge of dissolve due to their former owner's legitimacy issues. Dalian Yifang did not took Dalian W.F.C.'s first team, but purchased the U-18 team, to found Dalian Yifang W.F.C. on 25 October 2019.[1]
The team started their professional career in the 2019 Chinese Women's League Two. On 10 November 2019, Yifang W.F.C. won by 1–0 against Donghua University in the relegation\promotion play-off, ranked by 5th in the league, and gained promotion into the Chinese Women's League One.[2]
In the 2020 season, the team changed its name to Dalian Professional Women's Football Club (Dalian Pro W.F.C in short) in accordance with Dalian Pro.
