[edit]Rajniesh Duggall born on 19th November, 1979 is an Indian model turned actor. He came in the limelight when he won the prestigious Grasim Mr. India in 2003. He went on to become one of India’s most successful models and won many more titles and accolades. He then moved onto Bollywood and made his acting debut with Vikram Bhatt 1920 (film), a super natural thriller in 2008.
Biography
[edit]The actor was born and brought up in a typical Punjabi joint family in Delhi. Rajniesh completed his schooling from Delhi and went on to do his Bachelors in Business Administration (B.B.A Hons.) from Apeejay School of Management and B.Com from Delhi University simultaneously. It was during college when he started getting offers to model for ramp shows. He went on to do more than 150 shows in that year itself.
Modeling Career
[edit]Rajniesh won the prestigious Grasim Mr. India in the year 2003, where he also won Mr. Talent at the same contest. He then went on to represent India in the Mr. International contest held in London, in the year 2003, where he was adjudged 1st runner up and was also given Mr. Best smile. Apart from this, he was also won the coveted title of the Kingfisher Model of the year in 2005. Rajniesh has done over 600 ramp shows including all the fashion weeks from 2003-2007. He has also walked for brands like Cartier, Hugo Boss, Ermenegildo Zegna, Gas, Dunhill etc Rajniesh has also worked on major advertising campaigns for brands like Raymond, Kit Kat, Videocon, Panasonic Corporation, Yamaha Motor Company, The Times of India, Wagon R, Monte Carlo, Chevrolet Beat, Chevrolet Optra Magnum, Clinic All Clear, Vibe, Dollar, Givo, OCM Suitings, McDowell’s No 1, BPL Group, Spice Telecom, Visa Manhattan, Sahara Airlines, BE, Pantaloons, Mountain Dew etc. Apart from ramp shows and ads, Rajniesh has also been a part of several music videos for Bombay Vikings, DJ Suketu, Abhijeet Bhattacharya etc which have been huge hits.
Film Career
[edit]He made his acting debut with Vikram Bhatt 1920 (film), a super natural thriller in 2008. His next movie was another Vikram Bhatt production titled Phhir in 2011 opposite actresses Adah Sharma and Roshni Chopra.
He will be seen next in ‘Dangerous Ishq’ which is a 3D love story/ thriller. The movie which is based on past life regression is directed and produced by Vikram Bhatt and also stars Karisma Kapoor.
Personal Life
[edit]Rajniesh is happily married to Pallavee and they have a daughter, Teeyaa.
