Video gaming in Puerto Rico has an unknown market in the Caribbean.
In early 2014, the Puerto Rico Film Commission announced a new tax credit system to lure potential developers and publishers into expanding to Puerto Rico. Later in December, the PRFC issued it first tax disbursement to the San Juan-based Space Rhino Games on it project Breach TD.[1]

[edit]SRG Studios PR or formerly known as Space Rhino Games was founded in 2013 to develop video games for multiple gaming platforms. The studio is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The studio developed Breach TD; a free-to-play mobile game, mix of tower defense and real-time strategy elements.
History
[edit]Space Rhino Studios was initially founded in Caguas, Puerto Rico of 2013 by Michael A. Hoyos, with the goal of developing video games for multiple platforms. Breach TD was announced as the studios first project if funding was met, as a free-to-play tower defense game. The game had a successful campaign on Kickstarter in May 2014. After much delay the game was released on the mobile platforms on May 27 2015, with hope of potentially releasing a PC version.[1]
