August 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to English cuisine, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted.

Please do not delete reliably-cited materials without discussion or explanation; you are invited to discuss your views on the article's talk page, but edit-warring is not acceptable here on Wikipedia. This article has been examined and checked by many editors over the years; if you wish to change it, the mechanism is consensus, not random deletion. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:07, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to User talk:Chiswick Chap, you may be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 13:49, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at English cuisine. Stop, please, you are only going to get yourself blocked if you continue in this angry edit-warring vein. Claiming that the phrase "Panayi states that" is "blatant racism" is obviously nonsense, it's just a statement about a scholar, and entirely neutral. That was obviously accidental, I was trying to undo your racism and someone else made another edit in the meantime.

Could you kindly note that a) I am not a racist, and b) it is forbidden to accuse other editors of anything, per the policy of No Personal Attacks. That is grounds for a block, as is edit-warring. By the way, no other editor made any other edit, or if they did it was from your IP address. Chiswick Chap (talk) 14:40, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ever heard of unconscious bias? Enough of the microaggressions, you need to woke up already. Check your privilege white man.

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at User talk:121.45.169.51, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Chiswick Chap (talk) 15:06, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever, let's ban the black man then. Bad enough in real life but now discriminated against online too?

Please be civil. If you believe that the content on the English cuisine article should be removed, you should discuss it by visiting the article's talk page here. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 15:11, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How can I do that, it is not letting me?

Well, that's because you're blocked, dude... You can't do that until your block expires. :-) If you want to request an unblock, follow the instructions below in your block notice, and an administrator will review your request. I hope I don't need to say this, but I highly recommend that you be completely civil in your unblock request. I suggest that you just apologize for what you did and promise that you'll behave. :-) And, everything aside, c'mon man... we're not here to bust your balls or anything. We're here to build an encyclopedia. It's free for anyone, available in tons of languages, and is accessible around the world. Help us make Wikipedia a fun and great place to be a part of. Please? :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 05:09, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
